Illustration
I like an interesting journey and took a few different paths to get to where I am today. I studied animation at university and absolutely loved it. I favoured the more traditional processes of animation and would draw hundreds of pictures in order to get a few seconds of work. Drawing was where I was at my most happiest, so when I graduated I decided to focus on illustration and have never put my pens down.

Community Art Classes
I have been running art classes for over ten years now. I love giving people a space to draw, regardless of their ability, to help them explore their creativity and socialise. From adult drawing courses where I encourage people to stop and take time for themselves, to the high-spirited 'Scribble Squad', a lively and energetic drawing club for school aged children in the form of after school clubs and parties. For the past couple of years I have delivered tutored 'Drink and Draw' events for adults. For those who are keen to draw but need some gentle encouragement to take the plunge. The feedback I've received from delivering these courses and sessions has been overwhelmingly positive.
